Teddy Bear

To those who with lack of tact,
Would lay into a child's fantasy
Of a Teddy Bear, I would react
With accusations of personality-
"Who are you to judge it's soul,
and take away it's life-
As the child's innocence is cut
away by your logics knife?
Do you have that much sorrow
And that much spite?"
